Geography and Climate
Gmundkevakk is known for its extensive grasslands and desert regions, covering more than 75% of the land. Forests and wetlands line the northern peninsulas and all three islands. There are no mountains or mountain ranges (a mountain being defined as having a clear ascent or slope, a distinguishable summit, and an elevation exceeding 610m (2000ft) above the surrounding terrain), but the landscape is riddled with hills and dunes.
An active fault line bisects the province into a northern and southern region, with the southern region being most affected. Average temperatures across the province vary wildly, from well below freezing at -12°C (10°F) to 38°C (100°F). A prominent glacier exists in the north with an accompanying bog system. The province's two main lakes are known for recreation, power, and commercial uses.

Politics
As the wellspring of the Freedom First Party, Gmundkevakk was the first to suffer under their policies. Factories have been closed and workers sent to man the various Party camps.
Gmundkevakk was the first Province to undertake significant steps to combat pollution, due to their high numbers of factories and manufacturing plants. This led to a secondary industry boon in clean-up, evaluation, and measurement.
Today, Gmundkevakk has improved their air and water quality to pre-industrial levels.
